Jeweled Edwardian Gown

Pattern includes instuctions for beaded gown and train, Bouquet & Hairstyle

Should fit a standard Barbie Doll

If you can make a chain stitch and a single crochet stitch, you can make this elaborately jeweled, museum-quality Edwardian reproduction. The gown is created using the simplest of technique using easy-to-follow instructions that even a crochet novice can master. The gown is designed entirely of single crochet stitches with sequins and beads that are strung onto your crochet thread before you begin. Pattern includes beaded gown and train, bouquet and hairstyle.

Dresses of this Era were often so expensive it was considered acceptable to wear Bridal Gowns again after the wedding. The gown has a detachable train so the dress is easily altered for less important events. For her wedding day, our bride chose a heart shape motif that is seen in her rhinestone heart earrings and necklace. The bouquet is extravagantly designed with ivory roses nestled in a large rhinestone heart with a frou of chiffon frills and a mini rhinestone heart trim. The silver accessories are repeated in a tiny tiara adorning her head and a realistic moveable silver fan.
